Donald S. Levy, MD

Dr. Levy has been a general ophthalmologist since 1995.  He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.  Dr. Levy spent his childhood in St. Louis, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Duke University in 1987, where he was Phi Betta Kappa, and graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in 1991.  Dr. Levy completed a three year ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati Hospitals in 1995.
Dr. Levy has been honored as one of St. Louis Magazines "Best Doctors" for several years.
Dr. Levy is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Missouri Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the Missouri State Medical Association, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society.
Dr. Levy is currently on staff at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, where he performs his surgical procedures and is available for in-patient consultations.

John C. Perlmutter, MD

In practice since 1981, Dr. Perlmutter specializes in small incision cataract/IOL surgery, glaucoma, and neuro-ophthalmology.
A 1971 graduate of Cornell University Medical College in New York City, Dr. Perlmutter went on to train for two years in Internal Medicine at the former Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, followed by an additional two years training in Neurology at The New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center.  He then joined the Department of Ophthalmology at Barnes Hospital/Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis where he devoted a year to specialty fellowship training in Neuro-ophthalmology, a field dealing with nervous system and brain disorders affecting vision.  Three more years were spent training in ophthalmology as a resident followed by another specialty fellowship in glaucoma.  Finally, from 1980-1981, Dr. Perlmutter was the Administrative Resident in the Department of Ophthalmology at Barnes Hospital, responsible for directing the training program for, and teaching surgery to the junior residents.
Dr. Perlmutter is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and an Active Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.  A past president of the St. Louis Ophthalmological Society, Dr. Perlmutter is an active member of many other medical and ophthalmology based societies.
